Ursula 1000 is the brainchild of New York producer and multi intrumentalist Alex Gimeno.
Inspired by 60s soundtracks, the 90s lounge revival, Japanese shibuya-kei, British bigbeat, funk and disco, Gimeno fused these varied sounds to create what he calls his “retro/future” sound.
He’s toured the world and performed in over 30 countries and collaborated with the likes of Fred Schneider of The B52s, Lady Bunny, Puddles Pity Party and had his music used in Sex And The City, Grey’s Anatomy and for ads for Verizon, Adidas and Grand Marnier.
